carotid artery surgery

my mother is a diabetic, overwiegh (250+), has had 2 heart attacks, blood clots in her legs, high blood pressure, and now she has 2 cloged carotid arterys in her neck at the age of 71. They will be doing sugery on the worst side first this comming friday. what are her chances since she has so many other conditionns going against her?
