ccb diretic off -start beta blocker soon

Qustion : I will be stopping my ccb verapamil and dieretic maxzide - within a few days from now - and will be changing to a beta blocker Coreg.  after reading online im wondering if changing without waiting 24 hours inbetween the change
over - if I can have a interaction between the ccb and beta blocker meds ?  as Doctor said nothing about this !

also doctor said very few people have problems on this med Coreg ? I tend not to belive that, as im reading all the side effects listed !! there are meny ! and it reads far worse than other brands of beta blockers. Anyone tryed this stuff or is taking it ??

for the life of me, I find it hard to put myself in pain again ,and suffering with adverse side effects ! and cant figure why any Doctor in his or her right mind would perscribe such mediacations ?   with so meny harsh side effects that can happen !

Im at a standstill here - wondering what to do !    I tryed Natural meds to be honest -Nothing worked well or lasted long
more than 2 hours at a time.. and even with Natural meds you cant keep slamming down pills.. to stop the h.b.p
as even with those you can get sick from them.   hmmm

Any responce would help..  thank you all  boogernose.

Thanks for the input :
im allergic to about everything !  med wise that I take .. its no fun at all
I think your right in finding a reserch hospital -  and a good cardiologist - I have a open access plan  so its just a case of finding a good reserch hospital near me in los angeles california.
Im thinking maybe seeing the arizona heart inst .   in phoenix area  soon ?

problem I have had before is most of the cardiologists iv seen , have been young men
and just do a routine check ,never to ask any questions - and want the same tests done
that iv had already !  so far I dont think any have really looked into my medical records.
if so , I guess its just the money they want from the tests done (already )  iv had 3 or 4
nuke xray test scans done . ultra sounds , ekgs  blood tests .. kidney fuction tests..
so on down the road.. its all there..  cant keep going thew this sos..

well will look hard into finding a reserch hospital somewhere around me ?
or in arizona ..

what about a allergist ?  do you think that might help ??

You certainly have drug allergies!
I started taking a low dosage of Coreg to raise my EF and slowly increased it.  I got tired at first but my body adjusted quickly.  It did increase my weight initially but the weight came off again.  Coreg did indeed raise my EF out of the CHF range and I feel 100% better, so I had a completely different outcome.  I would suggest you see if you can talk to a Cardiologist at a research hospital to see why BP drugs react so strangely with you.  Good luck.

Info on change over.. if anyone is interested in this .
It didnt work out.    Coreg caused me Blurred vision and fuzzy vision ! massive headaches!  and chest pains (that I never had before)  Angina !! as well massive cramps in shoulders and lower back and sides.  off and on.. gas pains and bloating belly.
had a hard time eatting anything as I wasnt hungry! yet everything I ate turned to gas !
and it was blan foods - even water tasted bad ..  this new medication for b.p  has to be
the worst **** on the market -besides toprol xl  or diovan !  killer drugs !   iv been off the coreg now for over 14 hours - and will soon go back on the verapamil and dieretic pills
as I would rather live with swollen ankles and get out of breath here and there..  at least my b.p was down to normal levels.    coreg didnt lower my b.p down .. it stayed up
2days of this ! and its pure horse plop !

Isnt there a law somewhere that protects us people from these drug makers..
not to use fillers , that can cause such problems !   its insane !!

I called my Doctor , again he didnt want to hear of side effects or problems.
and wants to change me to another medication ..
problem is , my not his fricken ginny pig !   Im paying for care big money !!  and im getting b/s  from him  - and poor care and service !

I guess doctors are heading the same way of oil company ceo's  !
