I am so fortunate that I've never had to go through the whole cancer/chemo route. It is toxic to the body but it seems to be the only way we have right now to deal with it. And yes, I've heard it takes months for the stuff to clear from the body. Crud.
Gas pains can be horrendous. So what about food allergies or intolerances? I wonder if allergy shots would show sensitivities as well? I know so many folks that bloat up and get sick if they eat wheat or dairy or nuts. The list goes on.
Again (and I'm sure you're tired of hearing this) I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so lousy and again, I wish some wonderful doc would come along and figure out how to deflate you for good. In the meantime, take care, eat small meals and hang tight. I'll check back after the 4th. You need some good news.
Hi Ireno : thanks for the reply its very interesting to read - yeah always problems !!
it never ends !!
I was scaned after operation -no cancer found clear report - blood shows same ..
in Hospital 2weeks or so ago- cardiologest did tests on my heart ,as due to palpations
going on - he said they are pvc's and wont hurt anything..but very bothersome ..
I had ultra sounds done and ekg's and blood work - and some other scan done while there on my heart looking for blockage or something odd . it came out normal for my age
and condition. also was tested for kidney function and liver fuction all normal for now..
had the g-blatter tested done last year -simple test but couldnt get the 2nd test done
as doctor wouldnt approve it ..nor would insurance co. ? so need that done
I was scaned for cancer after the operation and had blood work done after interfearon
treatments were finished. all normal so says oncologest ?
im finding I have more a gas bulid up bloating belly problem - as lots of gas at night
as well thats when most palps happen. if laying down or sitting sometimes.. it ***** !
then tonight while reading side effects from zantac 150 found it can cause palpations
so iv been taking that daily.. maybe thats the cause ?
b.p has been normal levels. and back on verapmail and spirolactone working ok..
Im now wondering and reading about the pick line -and the fact it was straight to the heart for injections of interfearon -that is very toxic .. as I didnt have palps before taking
the injections ? they started up on the 3rd injection .. 3rd day .. and havent stopped yet
fully. the pick line is long gone .. but Iv been told the effects from interfearon is bad
and takes over 3 to 4 months to fully get out of ones system. could have been the worse
place for the line to go ..and they knew my medical history with palps before.
dang !! I had them stopped for 3 years straight .. even got off meds for a while.. had high
b.p readings.. like 168 /104 to 110.. off the meds.. but no palpations happend at all.
has to be something with the pick line and that toxic interfearon in the heart..
well im due to see the onocolgest on feb 4th I would imagine he will do scans and blood work again .. as he is keeping a very close eye on me ..
I know if I ask him about the pick line and interfearon - and heart , he wont know or will
tell me its me !! not the drug or pick line..
doctors are like that !!
oh well...will keep praying and try to get well again .. im half way there .. as far as the palps go . booger nose
Hi Boogie - was just thinking of you today and wondering how the meds were going. Looks like it's still rough. I keep wondering if there's something more going on besides the whole heart/BP thing. Doctors occasionally get so focused on one thing, they overlook others. They did that with my Dad - kept saying his nausea and fatigue was from his heart failure. Finally found out he had cancer too. Hmm. Not saying you do but perhaps there's some Crohn's or IBS (you were checked for that already, right?), gall bladder or pancreatitis. I don't know. Just wish you could feel better.
