arteries with intact ventricular septum and no outflow tract
obstruction.

Dear doctor,

Is the cctga related with gene? and can cctga be inherited from parents?

Hi, understand your predicament. Does she have any symptoms now? What surgery did your doctor recommend? One major factor for deciding on the surgical option is the functioning of the right ventricle, which is reflected in the right ventricular systolic function. Other indicators are rhythm abnormalities pulmonary hypertension and  valve regurgitation. So, discuss in detail with your doctor about the indications and the pros and cons of surgery, then you can decide. Regards.

Hi, congenitally corrected transposition of the great vessels (CCTGA; l-TGA) is an uncommon congenital heart abnormality, occurring in 0.5% of the population. Patients with this disorder may be asymptomatic. According to studies done, failure of the systemic right ventricle (RV) often complicates adult survival in unoperated or physiologically repaired congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (CCTGA). So, she will need to follow up with her doctor at regular intervals, depending on the right ventricular function, he may advise surgery. Please discuss this with her consulting doctor. Regards.
