chances of congenital heart disease

my first baby was dextroardiac with diapharmatic hernia. he passed away 27 hours after birth. i am 26 years old and my husband is 27. what are the chances of congenital anomaly in my next baby

That sounds like a rare condition. Did you talk with your doctor about what causes that and what percentage of children are born with that problem? Perhaps s/he can refer you to a doctor that specializes in genetics to guide you on this one. Some potential parents do go in for genetic counseling when there's a family disorder or previous pregnancy with problems. I do hope you get some good news.
