chest pain, anxiety, heart disease

by dee7710, Apr 13, 2008 12:56PM
recnetly i went to the hospital and was diagnosed of having a transient ischemic attack.  all of my tests (ekg, echocardiogram, mri, cartotic cardiogram cambe back normal.  since that time i have had three trips to the emergency room with chest pains.  the last time they give me a nitroglycerin tablet and kept me overnight.  they recommended seeing a therapist and prescribed a combination of xanax and paxil.

i keep having chest pains.  i had a nuclear stress test and the results came back normal.
last sunday i was sitting in church and got a very sharp pain in my chest...it then subsided.  i also have seasonal allergies/asthma which leads to periods of chest congestion requiring that i go on a round of prednisone)

over the last week i have had intermittent chese discomfort (not pain, more like a fullness).  and terrific indigestion over the last two days.  i feel ackward running to the emergenc room because i just had a stress test and all of my arteries are open, etc.but this unexplained pain in my chest accompanied with the indigestion (i don't have nausea just alot of belching which provides some relief).  today, i have these symptomes and also feel terrifically tired. am i going crazy?

i am 100 pounds overweight and have high blood pressure.  when i am having these episodes, i take my blood pressure and it is within normal limits but pre-hypertensive (130/77).  i am concerned abut the chest pain pain and just want to get back to feeling normal again.  any suggestions.
