chest pains and shortness of breath

i've been having really bad chest pains and shortness of breath.i've had an echo and it came back normal. then i had a heart carth done an it came back normal for no blockages but still having really bad chest pains?

Have you had your gallbladder checked?  Gallbladders symptoms are chest pain that can be severe in nature.  Can feel like you are having a heart attack, when it is your gallbladder that is causing the problem.

Are you having these at rest?  You could be having arterial spasms, which don't necessarily show up on an echo or heart cath unless you're having one at the time of the test.  You should keep track of when you have symptoms, if you have them at rest, on exposure to cold, and during stress but not during normal activity or exercise, then it may be the spasms and you can ask your doctor to look for them.
