chiropractic after stent

anyone know if its safe to go to chiropractor after stent?

thanks for reply. yes may sound foolish but wanted to see if anyone knew if adjustments could potentially affect stent location. have upper back misery and desperate for relief.

I suspect the question is whether or not manipulation is appropriate. In general any trauma induced by a stent will heal within eight weeks. I can't think of any manipulative procedure that would cause stress to the area of the stent. It is always appropriate to ask your cardiologist such a question, however there seem to be no contraindications based on common sense.
