There are several drugs that they use in the treatment of this form of heart disease. Contact the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Assoc. on line, you can get a lot of good information from them. As you are probably well aware of, there is no cure for this disease, however, you may be a candidate for transplant. I would consider seeking out a doctor at a major medical center such as a University. The HCM Assoc, gives a list of some of the top centers here in the US.
