conversion techniques

47 yr old male i had a- fib since 1992 pc had me on digoxin than toprol niether one did the job than i went to a specialist at new england heart institute which put me on cumiden and tambacor aftrr being cardioverted after a 30 day stint of a-fib,it worked for about two years than i was cardioverted again and put on 325 asprin and norpace cr and has worked for 10 years with an average of 1 eppisode every year lasting for about 4-6 hrs,last month i had an eppisode that lasted two days and this week i have been in a-fib for three days and have not self converted yet i tried increasing the dose for the last two days drinking plenty of water and adding a magnesium suppliment, is there any oyher way to convert myself with out being admitted to the hospital and getting a 8K elecro cardioversion........
