coronary arteries

The CTA exam resulted in everything being OK except for blockage of the second diagonal artery. I find nothing in your literature on this artery. Is it a minor artery and what is the significance of this blockage?. Should action be taken and what? If not taken what is the risk? Thank you for your kind assisstance.

the second diag is like you said a minor artery most of the time, however if big enough it can give you symptoms. the second diag is located on the Left Anterior Descending artery which is the artery that goes to the apex of your heart or the point of the heart if that makes since. Most Dr's won't do anything with this artery because it is small and even if it would get blocked off rarely does it cause any damage.
