coronary heart disease

by biopsygail, Jul 04, 2009 08:58AM
yesterday i had my 6th cardiac cath with no new findings although the monday before i had problems with a stress test that included nasuea, shortness of breath rise in blood pressure and jaw arm and neck pain. i also had two doses of nitroglycern before i stablized. my cardiologist said he can't explain what happened but there was no significant change in my heart and vessels since the last cath.  i have shortness of breath on minimal exertion, i also have developed pain (not burning) between my shoulder blades that runs down both arms which the discomfort is alleviated by a nitro tablet. Yesterday my cardiologist said that he still believes my esophogus is involved, can you explain how the esophogus plays a part in these symptoms?  also could i have copd? should i seek an evaluation by a pulmonologist?

Well I just had my second Anginogram on the 30th of April and I didn't have to have any stents put in @ all. I been dealing with Angina for a while and since I'm a Diabetic they Diagnosis me with Diabetic Mircovascular Coronary Heart Disease that means my Small Arteries are block and they can't go in a stent them they treat with meds. I also was Diagnosis with Left Ventricular Diastolic Dysfunction Cause My LVEDP was High along with Having Pulmonary Hyperstension. Maybe your doc could look into you have your small Arteries block thats why you still have the chest discomfort.
