defibulator

if a person has a defibulator can they lay in a tanning bed

An implanted defibrillator is often connected to a pacemaker. There should be no reason for you to avoid a tanning bed, which will have no effect whatsoever on the device.

I don't believe so, but more of a concern would be any medications you are taking. There are quite a number of medications which warn of direct sunlight causing side effects and of course, a tanning bed is very similar.
