descending aorta thoracic aneurysm

My anuersym was measured at 3.2 in 2007 in 2008 it was measured at 3.8,Is it growing rapidly?I cant get my next test til may this year.So i dont know how large it is now.

Actually, you don't have an aneurysm according to the general population (over 4.0 cm is considered an aneursym), or indivdually, if your aorta size is a bulge that grows to more than one and a half times the aorta’s normal width (normal for you!)

If there is an aneursym it usally grows at 0.5 cm every 6 months to a year.  The measurement is an estimate and there may not have been any change and because there is, or should be some flexlibility of the vessel wall the size is not a static measurement and there will be some natural variation.
