#normal coronary arteries .

>>>>>coronary blood flow is normal...no obstruction, etc.

#good lv systolic function

>>>>>>the heart is pumping normally.

#bilaterally normal renal arteries

>>>> No problem with kidney vessels that could be an underlying cause for hypertension.

Q: If it is then what could be cause of my diastolic dysfunction?

>>>>To have normal systole (pumping) of the left ventrical, and distolic (filling process) dysfunction can relate to the right side of the heart and possiblely high pulmonary pressures that are due to pulmonary (lung emboli (clots)) and or pulmonary artery thrombosis (clot).  This will usually cause the rightside of the heart to not adequately supply blood to the lungs to be oxygenated.  Less blood to the lungs, less blood to the left side (deficit in filling capacity) ventrical and DD...the heart is pumping within a normal range but the volume is less due to DD.

Or diastolic dysfunction can be due to the left ventrical heart walls are not relaxed and the rigidity of the walls inhibits and impairs adequate filling....Systole can be normal, but less filling is less cardiac output and hence a heart issue...worst case scenario.

You have not provided enough information and specifically the heart's rightside parameters including what is the pulmonary pressure, etc.?  You have provided hypokinesis and septum information and that is usually associated with less than normal systole function, but your systole function is normal according to your post. If the septum does not relax sufficiently that could impede the filling capacity and as a consequence DD.

Didn't the angiogram evaluate intrachamber pressures, righ ventrical and right atrium dimensions and pulmonary pressure?

Final diagnosis from my coronary angiogram report are as follows.
#normal coronary arteries .

#good lv systolic function

#bilaterally normal renal arteries

If it is then what could be cause of my diastolic dysfunction?

Q: What is Global ejection fraction?.In left ventricle global ejectiohn fraction is 56%.Also normal atrio ventricular concordance is maintained relation to the great vessels are normal. What does it mean?

>>>>>Global EF is an estimate of the amount of blood pumped out into circulation with each heartbeat, and the estimate is based on the quantitative calculation of the change in measured volume before and after the heart cycle..

Q: My doctor advised me for coronary angiogram.what it is?How far this test is related yo my problem?please illuminate.

>>>>>A coronary angiogram is a vascular analysis regarding the blood flow and assess whether or not there are any occlusions (blockages), abnormality regarding structure, etc. that may impede blood flow to heart tissues and cause chest pains, shortness of breath, etc.

The procedure can be with a cath that is moved from the site of penitration through the vessel into the coronary vessels and is capable of seeing any blockages, etc.  Another method (non-invasive) can be based on images accomplished with sliced images from a Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA). Computerized tomography angiogram (CTA).

Borderline hepatomegaly with diffuse fatty infiltration indicates an enlarged liver and sometimes losing excess body weight can alleviate fatty liver filtration, as well as have numerous other positive effects on the cardiovascular system.

Your shortness of breath may be releated to a concomitant to a heart disorder with your other medical problems.  Your cardiac output my be less than normal and you could have have coronary vessel occlusions.  A stress test may help to diagnose.

Prostatomegaly may be non-cancerous lesion of the prostate gland, and you should  have that ruled condition ruled out.

Thanks for the response,

Sir
My symptoms are shortness of breath when going up by stairs or  walking hurriedly in road.Sometimes a feeling of heaviness in chest after lunch or dinner. No chest pain.
Not diabetic or hypertensive,nonsmoker sinc 2k.Recently checked lipid profile(HDL 44,LDL113,VLDL 30,TRIGLYCERIDE 151) is ok.
usg whole abdomen(Borderline hepatomegaly with diffuse fatty infiltration, mild prostatomegaly) reveals no problem.x-ray chest pa(cardiac size is within normal limit with aortic knuckle calcification) is ok.TSH  7.16.PSA 2.84.

Q: HYPOKINETIC BASAL AND MIDPART OF ANTERIOR SEPTUM

>>>>>>The septum is the wall that separates the left and right side of the heart. Hypokinetic indicates there may be some impairment to the wall movement when the heart is in the filling phase.  Movement should be relax during filling to dilate and fill adequately and wall movement should have some contractility (systole phase) to help pump blood into circulation.

Q: DIASTOLIC DYSFUNCTION

>>>>>>Diastolic is the medical term for filling phase. Supports hypokinesis finding of the above comments.

NORMAL CHAMBER SIZE

>>>>>>>Capacity to fill is normal. This finding must relate to left ventricle chamber size before filling but chamber is restricted to adequately fill optimally due to hypokinesis. You may want to get some clarification from your doctor.

NORMAL SYSTOLIC FUNCTION

>>>>>>>Systolic is the heartbeat cycle that pumps blood into circulation.  That function is normal.

Q: NORMAL VALVULAR STRUCTURE

The 4 heart valves are in compliance with blood flow through the heart and into circulation as is it relates to the physicality of the valves.  No evidence of any stenosis (narrow of valve opening) nor obstruction nor leaflets' failure to close vlave opening during pumping phase.

Based on just the report does not provide enough information about the seriousness of the condition...it could be medically insignificant or could represent symptoms that would be of concern. Usually when there is hypokinesis there is some heart cell damage from a prior heart attack or occluded vessels that reduce the blood flow to the subject location.  I had hypokinesis of a heart wall and a stent implant with medication revitalized the heart cells...the subject heart cells are not necrotic (dead), but are on a dormant low oxygen mode.

You should not be restricted from any activity if you don't have any symptoms as that would indicate no serious condition. You don't indicate any symptoms!  For treatment, if, necessary, your doctor would be the only source that can answer that question as therapy would depend on the underlying cause, etc.

Hope this helps you with a perspective and some insight of the results of the test that can help you discuss the issues, if any, with your doctor. Thanks for sharing, and if you have any other comments or questions you are invited to respond.  Take care,

Ken
