does being on birth control hormones causae ore pac/pvc?

one more question...sorry, but i should have added this in the other post..althogh i suffer from svt and very frequent pac/pvc... i am wondering if being on the birth control hormones (nuva ring) can also cause an increase in the above?

The short answer is yes.  Hormones are implicated in many of our PAC/PVC frequency changes.

Can taking the morning-after pill cause PVC's/heart arrhythmias? I took the morning-after pill, and 3-4 days later, I started having PVC's/junctional escape beats about every couple min or so. Are these related to the morning-after pill and the hormones in it?

Background info: I am 21, 150 lb, and otherwise healthy with no underlying medical conditions (except that I have a fast heartbeat (about 80-100 bpm)

Are these related to the morning-after pill and the hormones in it? Should I take the atenolol that the doctor prescribed, or should I just wait until the arrhythmias go away? (Will they go away? I hope, because I really don't like atenolol's possible side effects).

A very similar thing is happening to me.  I am 29 and 140.  I had problems with a new dosage of birth control pills...after about 35 days of bleeding my OB said to double up on my pills.  Shortly after my heart started palpitating.  This went on for months....I began to realize that it stopped while on my sugar pills.  I eneded up getting an Echocardiogram, they found that I now have Myxomatous Changes in my heart.  Not at all saying that this is what's happening to you, but is directly linked to the hormones in the pills.

I'm curious to know if there is something that can be done to reverse it?
