elbows pain and chest tightness

by wendell714, Oct 26, 2008 05:27PM
Periodically, usually when I am at rest, I will have a sudden onset of fairly severe pain in both elbows and more pronounced in the right elbow. At the same time, I will feel mild tigfhtness in my upper chest. It usually lasts for 2 or 3 minutes. Sometimes it is accompanied with feeling hot. At all other times I feel perfectly normal.

It never occurs at any other time other when I am lying in bed or relaxing in my chair.

I do have some arthritis in my lower back and fingers.

I would appreciate any suggestions at to the cause. I am 82 and. until now have been told that my heart is in excellent condition.

Thanks for any suggestions.
