elevated BP

I just moved to the far east side of Cleveland from upstate NY, 53 yrs old, MI eleven yrs ago, moderate damage right inferior wall with five stents in Rt. Coronary as a result of disecting artery during angioplasty and stenting.  I have not found a new doctor yet, but have discovered yesterday and today that my blood pressure is very high for me.  I have a slight head ache and my chest has a bit of tightness and I'm exhusted.  Sys ranges between 134 to 148 and Dia ranges between 86 and 101. Normally my pressure runs around 120/72 and my last with my primary care physician back in upstate NY it was116/68.  It's probably stress from the move and settleing in...I really don't know, but it's very noticable to me.  If helpful, here's a list of my med's for BP/Cardiac:  Altace 10mg once per day, Coreg 25mg twice a day.  The only varible here has been going from Altace to a Generec one week ago.  I'm also a diabetic with good control...my last Hg A1C was 6.5 I believe.  I know this must be addressed but need guidance as to a physicain....Internal Medicine first? or Cardiologist?  Thank you for time.

Since you had a MI in the past I would see a Cardiologist.

Your readings are not extremely high and could have been caused by the move/stress.  However, since your BP was always on the normal/low side I'd see a doctor if I were you.
