ep ablation

hi my name is gill just had ep ablation on friday ended up with large haemetomam on my leg is it normal to be in so much pain down the leg afterwards ,still in a lot of discomfort,my leg is bruised half down my thigh and when i stand im very dizzy ,did anyone else have same symptoms

I was fortunate to never develop a hematoma after any of my 3 ablations. I did have bruising and tenderness. And after one of my ablations I did have some pain down the right leg only. It hurt to sit and I had to keep the leg straight out in front of me. I assume the nerve may have been bruised a bit. With your hematoma, it's probably putting pressure on a nerve that causes that deep ache. Getting a hematoma is not that rare but it will take weeks to resolve.

I don't know about the dizziness. I was a bit tired the first day or so but not dizzy. It's only been a couple of days for you. If you don't improve or if you get worse, definitely check in with your cardio's office and ask them if this is normal.
