even with a pacemaker, I am having my attacks and dealing with hogkins as well

My boyfriend was born with atrial fibrilation and after 26yrs he has finally gotten a pacemaker put in.Although he seems to still be having dizzy spells, chest pains, trouble breathing and just the other day had an attack due to problems with his pacemaker. The doctors replaced it but last night another attack occured and they don't seem to be getting better, he lost consciouness this morning as well.To add to his problem he is now being diagnosed for Hogkins disease and is at stage 3.He started chemo a couple days after he recieved his pacemaker which was 2 weeks ago.Radiation still needs to be done which is another concern since it could also interfere with the pacemaker. My questions are what could be causing him these attacks even after the renewal of the pacermaker, could it be possible that a heart does not respond to a pacemaker? Do you think maybe the hogkins since it is so advanced is playing a major role in his slow recovery?

If I could get at least some questions answered it might make it easier to deal with this overwelming situation.

I thank you so much for your time!!!

I had a cousin with Hodgkins and there were cardiac symptoms, and also a lot of fainting.
