familial hypercholesterol

hi im 45 years old and have the genetic blood disorder familial hypercholesterol,i had a mi aged 30,and bypass surgery aged 30 and 33,have been left with heart failure and continuing angina,recently had angoigram which showed the viens round the heart had multiple narrowingsand to small to get into to stent ,i am wondering if any what advances have been made in the FH field as this disorder is going to continue being past on from generation to generation.

other than aggressive lipid management with multiple medications including statin and screening for all affected family memebers we really have not come up with any new therapies.  i would have all your family memebers screened and treated if necessary ASAP.
