I would add one thing, it is likely that the pot caused your heat to go into a form of tachycardia, or a fast inefficient heart rate. This would have been made more likely by the amount of alcohol in your system. Your arrhythmia cause a lack of blood flow to your brain which is most likely the reason you passed out. The fact that your heart rate was 138 when you came to makes this a very likely scenario.

You need to get control of your life. good luck,

Jon

Through alcohol it's more common than you think. Alcohol dilates your blood vessels and lowers blood pressure, and sometimes it can be too low, not allowing enough oxygen to get to the brain. I think you was probably on the border of alcohol poisoning which can kill, and you was certainly wise to drink water as dehydration is an added issue to alcohol. That would have given your body a better chance of keeping your blood pressure up.
What probably added to the incident was the lack of food. A large proportion of your blood would normally go to the gut for digestion, allowing alcohol filtering to be more efficient. You basically had all the alcohol go straight into your blood stream, where the filtering would have taken much longer, and it would have hit you like a ton of bricks.
When I used to binge drink in my younger days, I found that eating a large meal caused me to need to urinate much more frequently when drinking alcohol. My friends used to joke saying they would serve my drinks in the toilet. If I didn't eat before drinking, I felt fine and wouldn't feel drunk. Suddenly it would hit me in a wave, and not be a gradual thing. One minute you are fine, the next you are fighting for control.
Glad you have learned moderation is the key. A drink of alcohol a day is better than none, so you don't have to give up entirely.
