Hello doctor. I just had follow up question to my previous posting "after ablation".
I went to see my EP doctor for follow up visit yesterday 4 weeks after my ablation. He is very confident ablation corrected my PSVT problem. He said nothing else out of the ordinary was found. I told him about my few seconds of
atrialAtrial fibrillation/flutter
Atrial myxoma
Left atrial myxoma
Right atrial myxoma fib that seems to happen every couple days. He just seems to discount it and doesn't feel the need for any further testing.
I guess my question is, when do you say enough is enough and just go on with your life? Would you demand another month long monitor to catch it, and see if it is brief episodes of
atrialAtrial fibrillation/flutter
Atrial myxoma
Left atrial myxoma
Right atrial myxoma fib? Or, should I just wait and see if the symptoms become more or less frequent and then decide? I have felt so great being off meds for 2 months, I don't want to advocate for more meds if they are not needed. Thank you for reading this.
Please try and answer. I know I am posting this under someone else's question, but I am worried sick and cant seem to get lucky enough to post my own question and I cant wait until the 10th for my results! I went to the doctor for stomache problems. They did a Sono to look at my gallbladder, kidneys and liver. Somewhere in the midst of this test the Tech gets the doctor and he tells me my "Inferior Vena Cava" vein was distended! I had a Echocardiogram done today and the Tech said my heart looked alright to her and the right side of my heart looks alright too, BUT my "Vena Cava" is in fact distended. 1) What can cause this with no other symptoms and 2) Am I at risk for it bursting by itself or anything? 3) And does the distention require any type of surgery?
Thanks so much, Carol
