(b) how long he can live? (c) is it possible to improve the ejection fraction from 30%? (c) what type of diet he should take and what kind of exercise he can do to loss his weight?

I had a silent heart attack 6 years ago.  My left ventricle was enlarged, 98% blockage of the RCA, 100% LAD blockage (collateral grown vessels provide a natural by-passs) and 72% blocked circumflex.  I was in ICU for 6 days with congested heart failure and EF was estimated to be 19 to 29%.  The RCA was stented and put on a medication regimen.  Currently my heart is normal size and EF is 59%.

My general health was good and I didn't/don't have a weight issue or diabetes, but with  weight loss and diabetes under control, proper diet, exercise, can be beneficial.

first of all sorry about your dad alot depends on your fathers age on what exercise he can get. after my heart attack i went to a cardiac rehab which helped out alot . i also have diabetes non insulin there are alot of heart healthy diets on the internet. he should start by going for walks and walk a little further as time goes by. ejection fractions can improve. With good excercise and a healthy diet and follow his drs advice and take meds and as long as there are no other health problems and god willing your father can live a long time
