head/neck flushing/with hypertension in male/21yrs age

IS ABOVE MORE COMMON WITH CARCINOID SYNDROME OR PHEOCHROMO?
Avatar_dr_m_tn
Flushing and hypertension could happen with either condition, but the hypertension is more commonly seen/associated with pheochromocytomas.  Both are neuroendocrine tumors so patients may appear and feel normal until a "crisis" is triggered by massive release of serotonin (for carcinoid) or catecholamines (for pheo).
