heart cath recovery

I developed a fever two days after my heart cath procedure never going over 100.3 and I have noticed purpleish veins around the bruising.  Any concerns?

Sorry to be responding so late - but just now saw your post.  Also sorry about your fever, but fevers can be caused by many things to include an infection.  From my readings online, the websites recommend calling the doctor if you have a fever (I'd do this just to be safe).  As far as the purpleish veins, I'm not sure if that is an issue. Do you have swelling around the cath insert site (i.e. golf ball size) that may indicate hematoma?  If so, again, you should get an immediate follow-up.  Hope you are feeling better soon!  Take care.
