i had the same thing done 2 weeks aqgo and it is gradually getting smaller.  More so in the last week.  I had this procedure done before without as much discomfort as last time and the knot was no as prevelant last time either.  I told my cardiologist and he was not overly concerned just told me to let him know if it doesn't get better.  Call your cardiologist, keep an eye on it and if it doesn't get better in a week or 2 call him/her back.  good luck

It is not normal, and you should have your doctor rule out any infection or blood clots that can develop into a serious medical condition. Do you have a fever? That would be a sign of infection.  If you have any followup questions you are welcome to respond.  I wish you well, take care.

Have you contacted your doctor?  If not, you should.  I have had 9 of these and never had anything like that. Take care and keep us posted. Ally
