heart/ethadone

I lost my yun gest daughter last dec,she was 27 years oldand left behind a 2 ear old daughter belle.She overdosed on methadone,she got extra ouside the clinic.To my question,my mother and brother died of heart failure could it have been a bad heart that took my sammy or the drug overdose?Ive ben blaming someone for thisI need to try and move on I cant go an hour without this terrible saddness.Is there an answer? I am sorry for your loss and express my deepest condolences for the loss of you daughter.
I cannot say, not having been involved in the care of your daughter when she died if it was the methadone or heart failure that caused it. Methadone can cause respiratory depression but also can prolong the qt interval which can cause sudden cardiac death. I can't tell these two apart without reviewing the medical record.

I can not give you any answers. I do want to say that I am so sorry for losing your daughter. I can't even imagine what you are giong through. I hope htat you will be able to some how get answers.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN, RIGHT NOW I'M LIVING MY OWN NIGHTMARE WITH A DAUGHTER ON DRUGS. THE WORST PART, SHE GET'S THEM FROM A 'PAIN CLINIC" I CALL THEM LEGAL DRUG PUSHERS!! I KNOW FOR A FACT THIS STUFF HAS COMPROMISED HER HEART. IF NOT FOR ME YELLING AT THEM LAST WEEK THEY WOULDN'T HAVE FOUND A PROBLEM WITH HER HEART, BUT I THEARTENED THEM, I SAID I WAS GOING TO THE DEA. THESE DR'S ARE WORSE THAN STREET PUSHERS, AND I DO BELIVE YOUR SWEET DAUGHTER'S HEART WAS COMPROMISED/DAMAGED BY THE DRUG. DO YO KNOW HER DEALER? GET THE POLICE INVOLVED, IF IT WAS MY DAUGHTER I WOULDN'T QUIT UNTIL I PUT HIM/HER AWAY. ALSO THE METHODONE CLINIC BEARS SOME RESPONSIBILITY, THEY SHOULD BE DOING URINE TESTS ON ALL THESE ADDICTS!! GET A LAWYER, IF NOT FOR YOU, FOR BELLE!! I'M HERE TO LISTEN, SALLY
