I cannot believe that after a HA you have been so long with high BP and cholesterol.

To my knowledge, if your EF is consequence of a HA or  ischemic it is vry difficult to increase it.

With the evolution of the cardiac medicine in the recent years, they have not been able to solve your angina problem?

Are bypass or stents ruled out? Why?

Jesus (my last figure is 17% EF)

PM is short for private message.  If you look just below the search medhelp feature in the upper right hand corner of this page, and click on your inbox, it should be in there.  Let me know if you found it?

Only God knows how long each of us have, having planned our days before there was one of them.  Please see PM for info from someone who had an even lower ejection fraction than you and it improved a lot!

No one knows, but I wouldn't be spending time worrying about it. Depending on the cause of your issues, you can improve your EF%, just work closely with your doctor.

Live each day without worrying about the calendar.

Difficult to say .... it depends on the reason for that small value, your sex, race and age, but generally speaking, and if you do not have other diseases, there is no reason why you cannot live several (or many) years.

Today there are incredible treatments and devices and of course there is always the possibility of a heart transplant!!

How do you feel, what symptoms and diagnose do you have.
