heart issue

My Doctor said that I have Abnormal Coronary Artery Disease. I have to take Nitroquick as needed and I also take Imdur every morning.  I'm wondering what do all that means to a 35 Yr old woman

I'm guessing you are experiencing chest pains or breathlessness or both due to blockages/narrowing of the cardiac arteries.  Nitroquick and Imdur dilate the arteries which allows for better blood flow.  Coronary Artery Disease requires, in most cases, lifestyle changes which includes regulary aerobic exercise, dietary changes, control of diabetes and stress to name a few variables.

Yes you are right I have chest pain and shortness of breathe which I take the Nitroquick and the Imdur which has been increase today. I'm also a diabetic with family stress in my life. Thanks for the response.

I went back to my cardiologoist on3/3/08 and he increase my Imdur to 60 mg once a day and I still have to take the nitroquick when needed. I'm so afraid of having a heart attack or stroke. right now it's nothing he could do but treat my symptoms because the small vessel are affect not the large vessel. I had a Angiogram and they found out I did have Abnormal Cornoary Artery Disease. Well i put it in god's hand and he will take care of me.
