heart problem

Im 47 years old, taking aprovel 150mg for my hypertension for almost 2 years now.  I used to take paxil 10mg before, now i only take it if i dont feel relaxed. But lately, i have this palpitation, even if i am not stressed. I took paxil again, but to no avail. I still have this sometimes heavy, slow, then again palpitate. With the doctor's advice, i took tambocor 100mg half 2x a day. I have no problem with my thyroid glands, i weigh 150lbs. Lipid profile is ok. What could have made me palpitate? I work in the office.
