heart rate rising and dropping all day long

Hello,I am 35 years old and having an issue that my pcp is dragging his feet on. My heart rate goes up and down all day long in severe fashion. Its hard to sleep bc it drops to low 40s and if I start to walk it jumps up to 90-100s. The crazy thing is it goes up and down just as fast and with this I feel exhausted. Any ideas. example. right before I got in bed my heart rate was 82,as soon as I lay down and doze off my body feels like it is being drained so I check my heart rate and its 41 so I get up. any suggestions

Everyone's heart rate varies greatly throughout the day.  The heart is a pump, and it automatically changes its rate to suit what the person is doing at any given time.

90-100 ppm while walking isn't unusual, and in the same way, 40 beats per minute during sleep is not rare.  A fast drop to the 40s really soon after lying down is maybe a tad unusual, and you can certainly ask you PCP to explain more about that to you, but I don't read anything in your post that suggests any heart disease, or any need for an extensive workup.
