heart valve problems

by momof3boys4710, Aug 25, 2009 10:44PM
my father is going into surgery again 3rd time in 10 months.  he hasn't had a heart attack, however he has blockages, the first time they did 4 bypasses within 4 months all but one was gone, they were able to put in one stint at about 40% opened.  he just finished cardio rehab and looked great. this week he started with his symptoms again and they found that the stint has scar tissue on it...it has only been 4 months post surgery, they are going to try again. the dr says his veins are horrible but  his heart is good with no damage just not enough blood flow and the scar tissue build up..what are somethings that can be done or somewhere i can read on this problem.  thanks for any information.
