A chest X Ray is a good idea. The heaviness may just be some fluid and swollen bronchi. I have chronic bronchitis and I have felt the heavy feeling while breathing that you mention. It is very unpleasant at times.

Good luck!

I would take you doctor's word, it sounds like asthma. It is easy to control and your doctor should be able to improve your quality of life.

Congrats on the normal stress test, you should be pleased!
