heavy arms

I have been having episodes of my arms very quickly feeling heavy and weak at the same time. I can not lift my arms up at all.  It feels like all the blood rushes to my hands. It lasts a few minutes then goes away. Sometimes it happens again right away but sometimes doesn't happen again for a few weeks.  I went to the ER when it was happening and I had a CT of the brain, an EKG, MRI, and blood and urine tests done.  The tests were all normal.

This is what happened to my father: a few years later had a heart attack. As it seems (scars) he'd had several before, without knowing it.
Googled on this since I just now experienced the "heavy arms" feeling as if "muscle acked".

You have described exactly what I am experiencing.  It happened the 3rd and 4th times just today, so I got on here to see what I can learn.  Did you find anything out yet?
