Metoprolol is medication for high blood pressure.  Bromazepam treats anxiety disorders.  An individual can buildup a tolerance, dependence and have withdrawl symptoms from the drug.  I haven't seen that drug used to treat heart disorders, in fact it may be contraindicated for heart patients.  I don't have a comment on the dosage as that would be a determination made by your father's doctor.

Thanks for your comment, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Take care,

Ken
