i had hearth cath , they used manual compression. this was performed 1 week ago. within 30 min after discharge from hospital, i developed hematoma size od a lemon with lots of swelling. i was readmitted to hospitl and manual pressure was applied for 2 hours. i was in extreme pain so sand bag was not an option. i still have some swelling, badly bruised down leg , lower abdomen, and bikini area. pain all aound site, into upper leg and pelvic area. i also am very bothered with burning sensations in lower ab,hip, and right side. still cant not walk on rirght leg with out great discomfort, feeling of pressure. let me say i do not blame my doc, i have the most respect for him and trust his judement. i would like to know if this is normal, if so how long will this go on ?  thank you for your time.
