pelodopine is a calcium blocker and is used to treat high blood pressure. While on this medication, avoid grapefruit like the plague. Basically this medication relaxes your blood vessels, allowing them to open more, reducing blood pressure and ensuring more oxygen gets to the heart tissue.
Atenolol is a beta blocker which blocks certain receptors in the heart from reacting to adrenaline. It keeps your heart nice and relaxed so it can't over work. It also reduces blood pressure. I'm not familiar with how strong atenolol is, but 50mg seems like a wooping dosage. Are you sure this is correct? I'm on Bisoprolol and if I take just 5mg
my heart rate drops to around 23 beats per minute. If I took 50mg I'm prettty sure it would either stop or go into reverse lol
