high blood pressure and low heart rate

by Pug1948, Apr 09, 2009 08:10AM
I have three stints in my heart from six years ago.  Recently I have been experiencing high blood pressure (210/110) and low heart rate (40 to 50).  Could this be a sign of a failed stint or a new blockage? I am currently seeing my cardiologist and having tests and he is changing meds pretty often trying to find a combination that helps, but between doses my pressure is still rising to an unsafe high.  The new meds seem to help for a few days and then I'm getting the pressures up again.   Hope to hear from you soon.
