high blood pressure in young female

My name is meagan . I am 22 years old.  I am overweight standing at 5 feet 4 inches and 185lbs. My weight and hieght have  been the same for over five years. no signifigant weight loss or gain. Heart desiese is common in my famliy, my father is 55 years old and recently had quadruple bypass surgery after having heart desiese  for 5 years. he himself said was on meds for high blood pressure at 21 years old. his father had over 7 heart attacks before passing at 82 years old. My mother who was on meds from what i am told for high blood pressure  passed away suddenly at the age of 42 from a subaagnod(spelling could be wrong).
my blood pressure is sky high. 177/119 is an average reading, lowest has been 160/107 and highest being 181/125. in the past my blood pressure has been what doctors say " a lillte high but nothing to worry about". its only recently i have been montoring with my dad. could have been high like this for a while.  what does this mean for me? i have googled this and so many things come up for old men. what about young women?
if i am  my mother this means half my life is over. Other than being overweight i do  not drive therefore walk alot. i eat  a blanced diet.  if i had high blood pressure i could blame it on my weight or smoking. but this is sky high. when i tell people they cant believe its this high. what is hypertnesion? what does this mean for my body? at my age? my pulse is also high. what could have happened to make this sudden change? i have taken my blood pressure several times a day for about 2 weeks. my readings above are as is.... HELP

Change yor diet by cutting your sodium intake.  Also,  exercise at least half an hour a day.  Try to lose some weight.  See, if this new lifestyle change makes a difference.  You may be right-it is probably hereditary so you'll be given meds to contro the BP.
