i'm only 30 years old but i had the same symstems hbp,and high pulseNeck pulse Pulse Pulse - bounding Pulse - weak or absent Radial pulse Takayasu arteritis Taking your carotid pulse rate running about the same as your husbands since i was 24 years old.all my stress tests done and echos looked good.my doctor wasn't overly concerned but did say we had to try to lower my bp,and monitor it on a regular bases.he gave me toprol xl 50 mg. and my bp and pulse still goes high sometimes but for the most part it made a huge difference.and of course he told me to watch my salt intake, caffeine, and niccotine,i'm not a doctor but my opinion from my experiences it may not be a major concern right now,but still a concern especially if it stays that high for long periods of time.so i would atleast try to get meds for it.this may not help your question but i figured i'd share it with you
