by noslit, Dec 24, 2007 06:44PM
I am male age 75  diagnosed with HBP at age 28. At that time the reading was 200/100. I have been on med for 47 yrs and otherwise in good health.
Press has steadily gone down over the years. I am on small dose of lisinopril  (5mg) now and have readings during the day, typically 100 to 120 over 65 to 80.
Upon awakening in he morning, my press runs 170 t0 200 over 95 to 110. Fifteen minutes after stirring around it settles to normal and stays there until retiring. If the med strength is increased, it get to low associated with faint spells if standing to quickly after sitting quiet for more than thirty min.

I am a 48 yr old woman  who had a hyperthyroid at age 25,after 2 radioactive treatments  my thyroid became hypo.....sence then i am over weight, high blood bressure, and massive anxiety attacks....when i was 28  i would wake up in the night gasping for air...i never thought anything about it,just thought it was nerves...i was thin, active  ect ect....i went for a sleep study just recently, because i catch myself holding my breath while dozing off  and hubby says i snore big time!!!  I also am going through perimenopause and started having heart palps almost everyday, which tire me out....even though im overweight..i was always very active, and never out of breath....Now all i do is lounge around because of lack of energy...I will be getting my cpap  hopefully sometime this week and already had a 24 hr halter and have an appt with a cardiologist at the end of this month...My Dr told me  my heart races  and its not life threatening...I also smoke and i have a breathing test also  this week...i am also borderline diabetic, which all i have to do is watch what i eat....Besides the pre diabetes....can the thyroid, anxiety, perimenopause and sleep apnea  cause these pvc problems?..I want my life back and energy..Thanks for reading
