high blood pressure

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure last week. My heart doctor told me i had a very healthy heart. My question is can you have high blood pressure and have a healthy heart?

Thats what my Doctor told me -  then I was subjected to test after test !  as just be sure
my heart was fine .. even got a ultra sound test -  and nuke xray tests !   all came out
normal heart condition - but b.p was super high ?  they never did find what the cause was for h.b.p .  I think they still havent found what causes h.b.p.  ?

keep a eye on your cholesterol levels -  just word of advice, if you eat out (alot )  as I do
watch the salt intake - and be carefull of msg in foods !   this can make you sick and as well cause the b.p to spike super high on you !!    

have you been put on any type of b.p med ?   if so how are you doing on it ?
any side effects or problems ??
