high pulse rate high blood pressure

hi could u give me a little bit of advice i had a fall an went to a and e were my blood pressure was 156/99 and my pulse was 120 which i was told was high and to have my blood pressure checked again at the end of the week i was advised that these may be high just because i was a bit anxious and in pain can u help

I would definitely have it rechecked when you are more calm and without any pain.  BP tends to go up in such situations, as does the pulse rate.  Have it rechecked.
