hip, leg and foot pain

by Kevin Alexander, Nov 01, 1999 12:00AM
A couple of months ago, I noticed after sitting in most chairs, that my left hip started hurting and the pain "radiated" through my hip, into my right leg and down through the knee and stopped.  Last week the pain was constantly in my right calf and foot.  One evening I noticed a slight swelling to the foot and a strong burning sensation on top of the foot, yesterday and today the pain is centered in my right calf.  I have a past history with Vaso Spasm and a minor Mitral valve prolapse.  Can you help me make sense of this? The hip pain has disappeared!

?????  This sounds more like a neurologic question and unrelated to the vaso-spasm and MVP.
