hypokinesis of the septum wall

My Husband is 34 years old and has a Family History of Heart Disease. And he just had an Echo on 4/14/2009..The report looks ok..it does mention 55% hypokinesis of the septum wall..I need to know if this is a concern..Please help me..Thank-you

It means that the septum is not moving as well as the rest of his heart. It may mean structural heart disease, ischemia from poor circulation or even valvular heart disease. Ask what his cardiologist thinks the cause of this abnormality is.
