i feel chest pains and raising palpitations

i am 23 and for the past month i been having really  heavy pain in my chest  when i lay down i also  have had few  episodes   where i feel that my heart  palpation   raises and it almost look like a heart attack but after sometimes it goes  away while i  drink lots of water  i when to the doctor few times and they did an x ray  to my heart and they did not found anything out of the common they qualify it as a  chest wall pain but they recommended me anti acid pills but  i haven't take then because my heart is also involves with this pain issue  i have had this pain previously and it gradually goes way after some times but then it comes back again this times its been with me  for almost  3 weeks and  a week ago i had  an episode with raising  palpitations  and my chest start to hurt badly then it when i way  i really don't now  what to take i been drinking lots of water and it clams it down but    when lay down it start to hurt again and i have to get up  i try to exercise but the pain get worst  after i do that before i started having this pain i used to exercise a lot but now it really scares me

Hello, it could be a form of GERD or a hiatal hernia, a hiatal hernia can cause some of the symptoms you mentioned. Try drinking some aloe vera juice before bed, this might help the pain as it helps to coat the tummy when GERD is involved.

You say your doctor does not want to run further tests, if it were me, I would insist, at least have an echo cardiogram, this will show if there is any structural damage to your heart and any blockages. This would probably help to set your mind at ease.
