i read about foods and tachycardia

by hink32, Apr 16, 2008 05:57AM
I read some comments on people who drank orange juice and had tachy cardia..My doctor told me about the vegus nerve, its a nerve that runs near your stomach and is responsible for such things as heart rate. If you have reflux or acidity it can effect it. my doctor put me on anti acid tabs like somac and it seems to have helped it

This discussion is related to Tachy again.

The vagus nerve does run down the middle there. I've found if I eat too quickly my heart will pop into tachy. Some folks get it when they bend over. We just have to adjust and do what works for us. Glad you're feeling better too.
