implantable cardioverter defibrillator

Hello everyone.
I have a question. I am about to have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator implanted next week. I am a little apprehensive about this. My question is that I have breast implants. Has anyone else have this situation and can give me some clue about what to expect?
                                                                                          Thank you,

Hello again everyone, I have another question about this ICD. When they do this procedure, do they keep you overnight in the hospital or do they treat this as an outpatient?

                                                                                              Thank you, Twana

thx alleycat2. I'm really nervous about this procedure and I guess I have been getting myself worked up for nothing. It helps to talk with someone who knows. Thx again.

The unit will be placed most likely 2 inches away from your right shoulder and 2 inches down from the top of your right shoulder. It  will not bother your implants. It will look like a little cell phone under your skin.
