implanted defibrilliator

My dad has had an implanted defib for the last 3 years.  He was told the settings for the alarm to be:

Activated at 10.55 am this would identify increased fluid
Activated at 11.55 am this would indicate arrhythmia
Activated at 12.55pm this would indicte a problem with the device/leads.

This information has been helpful and reassuring; it has been activated a number of times at 10.55 and was managed by increasing fluid meds until alarm ceased to activate.  Last month it was active for the first time at 11.55 and caused a bit of concern, we rang the cardiac department and they asked him to do a download and they would look at the results.  They called us back and suggested that this was fluid and that the device had not aligned itself with the spring change GMT.  This has just happened again and my dad is becoming very anxious about it.  My question is, " Has anyone heard of this happening?"
